The successful person will receive the New Investigator Award, which includes waiving of the symposium registration fees and conference dinner ticket, and cover of travel expenses up to €700 and accommodation up to €210 (expenses will be reimbursed by the Society upon presentation of receipts). Additionally, they will deliver a longer invited oral presentation (20 minutes + 5 minutes discussion), together with the holder of the LMIC Award. The Society will liaise with the awardee in to either (i) book travel and accommodation for the awardee or (ii) if already booked, reimburse these expenses upon presentation of receipts.
